think email has been hacked

I think someone hasc access to my account and is blocking me trying to change the password. Everytime I try change my password it brings up a DNS server error and on top of that , it will not allow  me to create the 2-step verification. Anyone got any idea how I find out who or what is stopping changing the password.

Your Sky Yahoo Mail account? You need to reset the password via Sky, not Yahoo Sky Yahoo Mail doesn't support 2FA.

@jarvo2104

Your password has to be reset via this link and not the Yahoo one:

https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

A DNS failure occurs when you are unable to connect to an IP address via a domain name, it is nothing to do with being hacked.

Interesting, the link to change password from the Yahoo page used to automatically take you to Sky via https://my.sky.com/mysky/profilesettings/mydetails/, but as you say it is giving a DNS failure at the moment.

So somehow they have broken the links between Sky and Yahoo.

I wonder if that helps explain the problems on this thread. Sky.Com email verification code is sent to my sky.... | Sky Community

Curiouser and curiouser!

We have always been told Sky doesn't support 2FA, these would suggest otherwise.

And, yes, now when I sign into my email, a code is sent to my phone., but not when signing into the Sky homepage.

I'm so glad I didn't try it on my main Sky account, it would drive me crackers. Now to see if i can turn it off.

I never did find out how to turn it off, but luckily someone else did:
