sky is in my wifes name but my email is ***@sky.com .all correspondence through my email comes back to Ruth even though she does not have a sky em,ail account -any ideas please

Try this:

Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your Sky email address > Name and make the change there and save the changes.
