changed phone number
trying to log into my email and and ive got to input 2 step verification, but ive changed my number but its not sending code to my new number

Have you changed the number you originally gave when you set up 2 step verification? It won't 'know' about the new number unless you do that.
Do you have access to the Recovery code Sky sent you when you first set up 2 step verification?
Do you still have access to a mobile with your old number?

You could see if it will allow you to change it here but it will probably involve using the recovery code you weee asked to make a note of or forward it to another email account:

thanks for answering, long story short, tesco have some how lost my old number when tranferring to contract, its been nearly 5wks they keep saying theyre working on it. so im afraid i havent even got the number. and im afraid i dont have recovery code.

The other thing you can do is to go through this:
https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-yahoo-mail/two-step-verif/articles/two-step-verification
In the meantime you will still have access to your emails if you access it via an app on a mobile device.

@kassie13 in particular, it's the bit in the box. You won't be able to change the number without access to the old number. In short, you'll have to contact Sky, I'm afraid.

You mean the 2 step Verification Code? If you kept a separate note of your Recovery Code as Sky recommended, you can use it to turn off 2 step login and set it up again with your new number. If you didn't, you'll have to call Sky who will be able to do it for you within 21 days.
