What password is required ??

12 months ago I transferred to Sky from Virgin Media. At that time I was allowed to keep my virgin media password to, operate  my email account and until 10 days or so ago all went well. Then I was asked for the password to the account which I could not find, Accordingly I went down the 'forgotten password' route. However having changed it for a new one when asked next time for the password it is refused,

I have an Ipad which also carries my email account and which fortunately has continued to operate normally.

Can anyone suggest how to get my PC to play ball.

@crosshills11 that doesn't sound like anything to do with Sky's email service. I'd suggest posting on the Virgin Community, or consulting Virgin's support people.

You might want to ask Virgin if your email account with them is still active and if it ask them about this and why it has started to happen now.

I need to use an app specific password with Virginmedia email on certain email clients, you might need to check to see if that's the case with you.
