Verification code not being sent

Don't even remember signing up up this 2 step sign in, but now I am, I keep having trouble every time I try to access my email. Now it's not even sending me a verificarion code. **bleep** is going on? No point ticking the box that says  Notify me by email when someone replies because I can't access it

Firstly, you didn't sign up for it, Sky imposed it on everyone.

You say the codes aren't being sent, but more likely you aren't receiving them. (yes. I know the effect is the same)

So, you were receiving them, but now you aren't, is that right?

Is the partial number that is shown on the screen correct and if it is have you looked in the spam section of your messaging app ?
