I am the account holder on sky, I have my sky email with them and so does my Son. Today my Son cannot access his, it is saying problem with account, then saying verify your email address with another email address that he had put as one around 15 years ago with outlook, he never uses that and does not even know the password. I remember this happening in the past and sky fixed it. Today I have been on the phone two and a half hours and his access still denied they are saying give it five to seven days, I will not be holding my breath. Getting through is a joke, the Indian call centre could not put me through to the UK, I have been with sky for over 25 years, the service and support has gone horrendous, I have tons of patience but today felt like throwing the phone through the window. Has anyone else had problems with email today,? The guy on the phone has informed me sky and yahoo are no longer together so I don't know what that is supposed to mean.

The only way I resolved this was to lodge a formal complaint indicating that as my email address held data, I would escalate the matter to the data commissioner, which I would have done because it really mattered to me. I was then dealt by the local office (I live in Ireland so it was that team) who, rather splendidly got to the problem and resolved it. Perhaps you might do the same?

Having the same problem and been fobbed off again and told it will take another 5 days to fix. I also had my sky email scammed yesterday sending out loads of rubbish emails to all my contacts.
Someone suggested it's part of a larger Yahoo problem no one wants to admit to !
So much about our security or lack of it !
