Two Step Login

Hello all,

Please help, how can I get rid ofthe two step notification routine when loging in to my emails.

It's driving me round the bend with constantly having to retrieve a code from my phone, especially if it's not turned on or downstairs away from my office/playroom !!

No.

You need to enter the Recovery Code which was displayed on screen when you originally set up the 2 step log in and was also sent to your email address.

On the login screen, click the 'can't sign in with the code' link and you'll be prompted to enter your Recovery Code, which will turn off 2FA.

Using the recovery code will turn off 2 factor authentication ( i.e. 'two step login')

Re: Two Step Login

So what you're saying is that "Awhich2" is the verification code to enter ?

Re: Two Step Login

Cool, that's worked (when I eventually found the stupid code)

Many many thankds. Nothing's ever simple is it, just an "On/Off" option would be nice Mr Sky.

Thanks all.
