Hi
I've received an email regarding important changes to the Sky email account.
I've been on the Sky website but there's no mention of this. As you can see from the attached screenshot there is a reference to a '[content removed]' which further raises my suspicion that this is fake.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm this for me.
Many thanks
Best wishes
Paul

I received an email today from sky.com R saying i needed to refresh my email by 15th Sept. Is this a scam? Email content below and it had a link.
"To continue giving you the best experience and service, we need to let you know about some changes we're making.
The classic version of Sky that you're using on your computer will no longer be available to ensure continued access to your Sky Mail account, you will not be automatically upgraded to the latest version of Sky! Mail or Basic Mail, it's quick, easy and free. Just update your email address now. All changes come into effect on 15 September 2022."

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt is definitely a scam. This one is particularly popular. I saw a similar post yesterday. In your case all that's changed is the date the changes are going to take place.

Hi ... Received an email from sky saying I must update my email account, but when i looked at the details this email address was attached: pamandjohnbrear@
I'm sure this would be a sky email if it's about my account?

Yep, I agree. @Rog19 it's not genuine, and you can just mark it as spam, and ignore it.
