Spam emails

Despite reporting the same spam emails for weeks now. They keep coming. Why? What is the point of reporting them?

Coming from slightly different email addresses, perhaps? If so, keep doing what you're doing and mark them as spam.

 

If  they're coming from the same email address every time, you could set up a filter to divert them straight to your Trash folder to avoid you being bothered by them.

I get the same, but as @Mark39 says although they look similar, they all come from different email addresses.

However mine all get caught by the spam filter, so no problem.

Are yours getting into your inbox? How are you reporting them?

Is that via the webmall? I wonder why the spam checker works for me and not you?

And I have never needed to "train" it (i.e. mark them as spam) it just knows.

i didn't really have much of a problem until about a month ago. I am now getting several a day. Something has changed.

I use webmail via Android devices. Havnttused a computer or laptop for years. Hence why the macafee protection is nonsense.
