I received and email with the title Account Deactivation Notification From SKY

the email says that if I do not verify my account it will be blacklisted. 

I closed my sky account in June but still use my email account. Is this email legit or a scam?

It's an attempt,pt to scam you. Mark it as spam, but otherwise ignore it.

Be sure to log into your Sky Yahoo Mail account regularly to avoid it being cancelled.
