Sky advert attached to emails

Why is sky attaching a advertising banner to my outgoing emails.

And how do I stop it or change settings

I've not heard of this happening before. Has it just started?

How do you send your emails, via a browser or an app?

My Brother told me that he was getting sky adverts at top of his emails from me. He told me a couple of weeks ago, also I use Firefox to send and receive emails

Is it only your brother getting the adverts? I have not heard of Sky|Yahoo putting adverts into sent emails.

Sorry for the long delay. as far as I know it is only my brother who has told me about the sky advert banners. He uses outlook !  I never see any adverts from other sky accounts. I thought it had stopped but he has just had another moan,

I use Thunderbird and no one else has told me about any adverts sorry for the late long reply but he has just had another moan. I dont know of any other people getting this. He uses outlook

I very much doubt that advertising is being added to your outgoing emails.

Have you asked any of the other people you email if they see them.

Ask your brother to forward one of the emails back to you, and see if you also see the advertising.

If possible post a picture of what you/he sees, obscuring any personal details, and it may help us understand what he is complaining of.

No one else has said about the advert banner. I have asked him to either return email or a screenshot.

When you say he uses Oulook, is that Outlook on PC (i.e.Office), Outlook on mobile, or over the web at Outlook.com?

The free verion on Outlook.com, does include adverts.

Remove ads in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support

I doubt Sky are inserting them, more likely  Microstsoft are bringing them up, based on your email address.

In fact, i've just sent an email to my Outlook account, and this is what I see

So definately Microsoft doing it.

Thanks Jayach. I had a feeling that Sky of Thunderbire were adding adverts. It will give me great pleasure telling him that it not my end. As far as I know he uses the PC version and I googles yesterday 'Do outlook add adverts'  and it said that they did. Thanks Again

There are no adverts in the PC version of Outlook, it's what I use, Here is what the same email looks like in there:
