? Scam emails from sky

Hi ,

has anyone received any emails appearing to be from Sky Mail Support, asking them to verify their account otherwise the account would be closed.

Im think it's a scam, and haven't clicked (I've deleted it) but today I got another , saying 18 emails have been put on hold until I verify , it I don't verify account will be closed.

im still not verifying but now I'm doubting myself ...

@Smec  Any email asking you to follow or click links are scam emails designed to obtain personal details.

These are scam emails as Sky would never send you an email telling you to verify your details before releasing emails.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Emails like this have been doing the rounds for a number of years now @Smec as we see people asking about them n an almost daily basis so mark them as spam should you receive anymore so they get deleted,

I'm getting these too over the last two weeks or so and again today, 18 emails withheld until I upgrade. Like you I'm very dubious but gonna ignore all future emails now having read this.

Very sensible @2+funkyinhere , there is no way anyone is "withholding" your emails, it's just the scammers trying to panic you.
