I have been having problems for a couple of days accessing emails. Keeps saying cannot concept to service. Today I received an email from
an Allan Goodwin from sky support saying the version of email will expire on 4th December and I must click the supplied link!!! Scam or is there an issue?

That is a scam email you have been sent as there is no expiring version of Sky email as these get reported on here pretty much everyday so mark the email as spam so it gets deleted and do the same should you be sent anymore.
Regarding the "can not find server" issue, is your device an iphone or iPad or how do you access your emails, do you use an Apple app or do you login to the Sky website ?

Yep, that's the app which appears to be having difficulties following a recent update.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePending resolution by Apple (or Sky) you can log in to your email via sky.com or use a different app. From previous posts the Apple Mail app works intermittently.
