If you kept a separate note of your Recovery Code as Sky recommended when you set up 2 step login, you can use it to turn it off yourself. If you didn't ypu'll have to contact Sky and they'll be able to turn it off for you, though it may take a while.

Re: Please remove two step verification

I'm having the same issue. Previous number was associated with a work mobile number I no longer have access to.

Spent more than 60mins to be told that it will take 21 days for them to change the two step process.....21 days which means I'm locked out of my Yahoo emails.

I got quite irate at this, asked to speak to a manager and was told that would take 2-5 days.

Absolutely crazy....I hung up the phone in anger which in hindsight wasn't a very good tactic, because I'm pretty sure they wont resolve the issue for me.

Hate Sky these days, very tempted to bin the whole lot after 20+ years. They make it so difficult to resolve issues.

Every other website provides an alternative way (secure) to change 2 step verification, but no no, Sky need to make it almost impossible.

It did used to take up to 21 days (no idea why) but apparently now it should take a few days apparently.

Not if you had made a note of your Recovery Code as Sky recommended...
