OTP and recovery code

I lost my phone and do not have the recovery code so cannot access my sky/yahoo email account on any device as it sends a OTP to my phone which I do not have. How do I regain access to my emails?

There's a team that deals specifically with this type of issue, but it may be a challenge to get the adviser taking your call to pass you on to them - the team's existence appears not to be well understood. You can't contact them direct.

Answered sort of. But to wait 21 days for the account to be accessible is beyond a joke. Will never use OTP again.....

Yes, I'm not sure what the purpose of the 21 days is.

2 step verification can work ok providing you follow Sky's recommendation to keep a separate note of your Recovery Code. That way, you can turn it off if you lose access to your mobile.

While you wait for the OTP to be removed (do let us know how that goes, no one has yet reported back to say it works)

it is possible to access your emails using a client/app with a generated password.
