Hi, just had a new iphone, usually no issues with all information going across.
For some reason my sky email won't add. It's still onmy old one, but the new one it's not pulling through?

I'm getting this too. I have Android and have tried it on multiple email apps. Getting the same message.

Can anyone advise me as to why I am unable to receive sky/yahoo mail either directly from Yahoo, or seperately using Windows Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird. I get "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try in minutes" on the three of them but I can get mail if I go directly through Sky itself. I am running Windows 10 pro, the browser is Mozilla Firefox and browser privacy is on Standard. All site data and cookies have been cleared. Do not track is activated and Firefox is set the "Never remember remember history"

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you can access your email account using your browser via Sky.com, the problem appears to be with the apps/clients you're using, rather than Sky Yahoo Mail
Try using a generated app password in place of your normal Sky password in your client/app setup.
Edited to add link to Sky's help guide: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/problems-accessing-sky-mail-from-your-email-app

'snip'

Can you explain a little more as to what directly from Yahoo means?
The fact there are at least couple of people reporting "We are unable to process your request at this time", from clients/apps, does make it sound like there may be a problem at their end.

I am using Windows 10 pro and can anyone advise why I cannot access my Sky mail. I have tried direct through Yahoo itself and individually with Windows mail and Mozilla Thunderbird and keep getting We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try in minutes. I am using Firefox which has browser privacy set to standard, do not track activated and Fierfox set to never remember history. I also get the same response when using Google Chrome. Cookies and data are clear. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Google chrome, MS mail and Thunderbird but still get the same message.

I've tried those steps with the 16 digit password ready. Don't even get that far of asking for a password. I'm adding yahoo as a provider option and that same message of please wait minutes comes up.
