Where do I add this bit please?
when I press other as the provier, it asks only for name email password and description. The next page there's no 'port' in incomeing and outgoing , I can see the server on both imap.tool etc

So I'm going, setting, mail, accounts, add account, choosing other rather than yahoo, add mail account, entering name, email, password description, next page it's verifying. It's saying no password provided for sky. please go to mail account settings and enter a password.
in this bit beofre I go back it has
incomeing mail server
imap'tools.sky.com
username
password
outgoing mail server
smtp.tools.sky.com
username
password
theres no port

Don't worry about the ports.
Your username is your complete Sky email address.

Gone through all the steps setting up my email on my new iPhone (including generating an app password) and I keep getting the above error message.

So I followed the great tip on generating the password and now my email is set up but it won't link to the calendar ... I had before calendar, email, contacts and notes. Now can only see email and notes. Any suggestions??

Ok I was too quick. It still comes up with the message that it can't get to the server.
I have an iPhone and latest version installed.
does anyone have any other suggestions I can try. If you need to know anything else let me know. Also got it set to 993

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server
Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server
Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

Others have found using the Yahoo app in the meantime has worked.

Thanks. I tried that. Hasn't worked. Am using yahoo but not sure how secure this is compared to Apple....
