I set up my new Sky account with an email address that is longer in use.ie hotmail , I want everything changed to Gmail account email address but when I change in the MySky it says "this won't change login etc.

If you use a Hotmail address as part of the login process so you enter it in the username box then as the message says you can not actually change this. It doesn't matter if you are using the email address or not as it is just a username. You can change the email that is registered with your account though.
