I recently uploaded Office 365 after the 30 day trial expired but now find that the Line Shift key doesn't function properly. Instead it types the text over the recipient address box. It means I have to type the message in one continuous text. How do I restore the Down Shift/Line Break key to act as it should?

Sorry, all, solved it by using the Delete key at the end of what I wanted as the first line.
Suddenly the Line Break (carriage return) key came back to life!
The key I use is on an Advent multi media keyboard and is a large key with the down and across arrow.
Presumably on the old typewriter it was carriage return, but it is used at the end of a sentence to start a new line. As per my reply, I used the cursor to highlight what might be at the end of my typing and deleted the blank space... then the new Line appeared, so all back how I want it.
So no need for any further comment, all now resolved.
Thanls all who responded 🙂

Not sure what key that is.
There is a shift key and a line break key (shift and enter), what are you actually typing, and what do you expect it to do?
But as the previous replies state, this is really a Microsoft query.
