Is anyone having problems with there sky email account

Yes, they are not downloading.  Had this trouble a couple of weeks ago when there was a Yahoo outage.  Things then worked okay but it has been happening again for the last two or three days.  According to the 'Is Yahoo down' website, lots of people are reporting problems.

Yes. Getting an account error and also getting an error when trying to log into Yahoo email directly.

Hi yes, none of my sky email accounts can be accessed.

General error is
"Login to server imap.tools.sky.com with username failed."

I thought the password was wrong and i changed it and this made no difference one one account.
PC or iphone no difference.

 

However, via Sky login, Yahoo is working!

 Have you tried an app password in place of your normal. Sky password?

Thanks Mark, i had forgotten about that ! have regenerated and were in !! Not sure whether this means they were expired, i didnt get any notice or did i.

I am on both my iPhone and my iPad and this is really starting to annoy me. This seems to happen with Sky mail all the time - cannot connect to server!

I'm not aware that app passwords expire, so I don't know what happened there. Thankfully it's easy enough to generate a new one.

Tried an app password? I don't think it should be necessary with your devices, but no harm in trying.

I'm trying it now but there's no where to input that info on the iPhone and the help video doesn't play in the website.

When you have generated the password you use it to replace your current one so have you tried looking via Settings > Passwords ?
