Email not downloading on new iPhone 16

Just bought an iPhone 16 transferred all my my previous apps and data.

sadly, the emails are not downloading. I receive my emails via Yahoo.

it says downloading but they don't appear.

if I access my emails via iPad then they soon appear in iPhone.

or if I disconnect Sky Wi-Fi; they quickly appear on iPhone.

cannot see where things are going wrong.

Is your emai account a Sky one or a Yahoo one ?

There are other ways to access your emails including using the Yahoo or Outlook email apps or by logging here to the Sky website which you need to do to keep your email account active:

Gmail would be a better option.

I would delete the account & set it up again using the Yahoo option, enter your Sky account details & it should ask you to sign into the account online, do this & it will authenticate the account in order to download email in the app.
