Is anyone having Email problems

That's not what the instructions say, they say to add it in the Settings, Mail menu. This password is only for access to email not to My Sky account as I have already discovered.

The error I am getting consistently on both devices (iPhone and iPad) is Account Error: Yahoo Cannot get mail the connection to the server failed.

The other error  I consistently get is when I search for an old message in my inbox it cannot download the message content.

I've just about had it with this. I should just use iCloud or set up an Outlook address.

Don't worry about the instructions, then. Just replace your Sky password with the generated one in your email app.

I seem to have got it working by setting it up as an "other" email account rather than the Yahoo option. Worked on iPad too using the app password. Don't know if that'll sort the download issue or not but it seems to be working for now. Thanks for help.

My son is having problems getting into his email account. It's a sky.com email but it won't let him in. He accesses it all the time from his iPhone but has suddenly stopped working. Has tried to get help from sky but no luck. Can anyone help?

Seems to be an issue for a number of iOS users. He can still access emails by logging in to sky.com using,his browser.

Has tried on a pic aswell but still can't get in. If he tries to reset the password they say that he will get an email to do it but he can't get into his email. They have also given him a few numbers to ring but that comes back as not linked to his account

Yes. He's tried that but the message is that either username or password is not recognised. But he was only using it the other day

That email wouldn't be sent to his Sky email account but to the recovery one he has set up on his account.

Can he log in here: https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details ?

If so he should be able to change his recovery email address, and set a security question, so he can change his password via one of those.

Yea I'm having the same problem again today one minute it will work then again won't. I'm using the iPhone mail app as if I don't I loose all my number etc. anyone know if there's a problem with sky yahoo server as when it's not working it's saying unable to get from server I had a while back too so I'm guessing after taking it out my phone and back in if there's a problem there rend if anyone e can help please let me know as it's driving me crackers lost if my emails I had that were important have downloaded but when I click on them says message not downloaded

@wildchick there appears to be a problem with a recent upgrade to the Apple Mail app which. Is causing this - read through the thread. Sky Yahoo Mail is working as well as it ever does, so it's unlikely to be z problem with Yahoo servers.

Bit confused by that link above it does work with the code when I type it in the Apple mail app and I suppose to put it in the yahoo app first then add my Apple app mail in with the same. As I did the password in my Apple mail app and it does work.
