How to stop spam altogether

I get a lot of spam casino emails going into spam. I've tried blocking but it's still happening as they're changing their email address. Is there a way to just stop emails coming to me at all that have a word like casino in them?

@Julie260 the simplest solution is to mark each one as spam/junk and eventually Sky Yahoo Mail will learn to pass them straight to your Spam folder. Blocking them is pointless, as you've discovered.

You could try adding a Filter for all emails addressed to you, with a subject that contains the word you want to block ('casino' for example). I've not tried this with Sky Yahoo Mail, so I don't know how effective it's likely to be. To add a filter, go to Settings, More Settings, then Filters. You'll need to use a desktop/laptop PC or a mobile device in 'desktop' mode to be able to see More Settings.

@Julie260

You will not be able to block them from being sent so if they are going into the spam folder then the system is doing its job.

If any end up in the inbox then mark then

as spam.
