Typically when I follow instructions on how to add a new app password so I can add my Sky email a/c to a new mail client app, (in this case MailSpring) the instructions I find lead to a dead end. An error message of "Something went wrong appears when I click the button to show the new password"!!! Can someone just let me know the correct links and process to do this please?

I've just tried, and I get the same message, so it's not just you.
But a word of warning, if you frequently generate new passwords, there appears to be a max of 30 before you reach the maximum allowed, and no way to rescind old passwords.
I now make of note of the passwords I generate, as they seem to be reusable.

Re: How to add app password
This should be the link you need:
https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps?client=email
You could also try adding the email account as a Yahoo one and trying your usial Sky email password to see if it will work.

Re: How to add app password
@amberleaf try closing all open Sky websites and then clearing your browser cache.

Re: How to add app password
Have closed everything, cleared all browser history and still "Something went wrong". I've even turned of Unifi Ad Blocking to see if this might affect things and still unable to create the new app password. I just don't get why this all seems so difficult

Re: How to add app password
Thanks for confirming someone else also gets the same error msg as it ws driving me crazy. Its a shame but so many sites now seem to have options that don't work any more - maybe someone from Sky or Yahoo will get this resolved soon

Re: How to add app password
I couldn't get the website to provide me with an app password but fortunately I found one I created some time ago and it still works, so they can be used multiple times.
I then called their support to report the webpage error as clearly if it is not just me experiencing the problem Sky needs to fix their website. Sky support is obviously outsourced to another country as I struggled to get them to understand I wasn't wanting to do a Sky password reset as I think their knowledge of app passwords was zero. The 3rd person I spoke to eventually gave me an email address to send a message to after I'd tried to talk them through the process themself. Tragically they couldn't go through the process as I was told they didn't have a Sky a/c to login to, said they didn't have Sky TV. The address I was given was for a complaints service of some description but I sent an email explaining the problem (with screen shots) so hopefully it will be passed onto the right team and get fixed for anyone else who needs toget an app password.
Thanks for all the replies offering help.
