My sky.com email address has been hacked and taken over by someone.
I've had to login to these forums with my wife's details as mine do not work.
I don't know how they did it but my password, security questions have all been changed.
Had this email since 2012, it contains important saved emails and personal data.
Called sky on (removed), spoke with a very nice customer service lady.
My email is from an inactive sky account and is linked to sky stream, as a result she cannot reset my security.
She had to fill in a form and email another dept that would be able to unlink the email from sky Stream, then she can reset the security.
Today she called me back, said that it was still pending and had not been actioned by this other dept.
Athe time of writing this, the criminals have had access to all my emails for approx 36 hours, 36 hours is a huge amount of time, I have no idea what they could be doing but I'm quite certain it will not be good.
The Sky representative understands my concerns and the stress it is causing but until her email is actioned I'm stuck.
So, to whomever this concerns, can this be actioned as a matter of urgency please.
MODERATOR NOTE: Sensitive information removed.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm afraid as we're customers here, there's nothing we can do expedite this.

Yes, but you never know who actually reads these, so thought it's worth a try.

How would they know who you are?

My issue was rectified thanks to one of the most helpful customer service agents I have ever encountered, Jodi.
If I could buy her some flowers, I would.

I had to sign in with my wife's account as I've had similar issue. Last week I had a text informing me that my security questions had been modified.
I logged straight onto my sky account via Safari to change my questions and password.
Today I have been informed that my account has been blocked for suspicious activity and they will call me back in 24 hours with answers.
I am very concerned as I have no access to my account at all.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@MrsAbattoir I would say that a change to your security questions not made by you would certainly be suspicious activity. From previous posts, it seems that the account blocking is applied automatically by Yahoo (not Sky) and only Yahoo can unblock it. There has therefore to be some behind the scenes dialogue between Sky and Yahoo to deal with it.
