Haven't signed up for 2 factor verification or am I receiving any 6 digit code to my mobil but, I can't access any of my email accounts.
Anyone know if something has gone astray at Sky's end today....wrong kind of heat..maybe?

If your messaging app has a trash/bin folder then have you looked in there for it.

When you login to your email account oinr are you now being asked to set two step verification, if so you do need to do this by supplying your mobile number and also when shown the recovery code make sure you make a note of this to keep it safe.

@JTMech what's happening when you try? As @caesarome posted, mandatory 2 step verification is being rolled out, so that might be what you're seeing?

I add my mobile number but no code is ever received.
I've just double checked that my number is logged in my main Sky account settings, which it is!
I don’t have a recovery code as I didn't set this up to begin with.

It might be shown in your account settings but it isn't actually that one that's used for this as it will be whatever one you entered when setting this up so are you sure you entered it correctly.

Have you actually setup 2FA? (i.e. have you given your phone number)
When it says it is sending the code, does the partial number shown match yours?

I hadn't, but I've just used my wife's phone number and received a verification straight away, so 2 factor is now active but for some reason my phone must be blocking whatever number Sky uses to send the verification code!

Sort of self inflicted, but more phone inflicted.
Android does indeed have a spam filter and Sky was at the top of the list with loads of verification codes.
If anyone with an Android phone as not receiving their verification codes, check your spam settings under your profile in the messages app.
Seeing I used the wife's phone number to prove it was my phone at fault, does anyone know how to change the number back to mine. In account settings the setting doesn't work, is there a time delay before you can use another number?
