Every time I log into my Yahoo Mail account I enter my username as always. Instead of being asked for my password next I'm asked the two security questions linked with my account before then being asked to change my password before I can access the account. This happens every time I try to log-in and, believe me, having to change your password every time before you can access your emails is pretty boring. Not to say frustrating........... I've read the reasons why one might need to change passwords but believe they don't apply to me in this case. Can anyone help, please??????

Re: Email verification passwords.
I suspect somehow you may be using the link to the change password facility, instead of the email link.
Does it happen if you use this link?

Re: Email verification passwords.
Sorry to take so long to reply but I now wait for a few days before logging on to my mail as it's such a pain having to change my password every time I attempt to access my Yahoo Mail account. I don't see that I'm doing anything different from all the years I've been using Yahoo Mail. I enter through the mail portal as normal with my user name and what normally transpired next was that I'd be asked for my password and on completion of filling that out I'd be sent a two-stage verification code to my mobile. Enter that in and I'd be directed to my inbox. Now, every time I enter my user name I'm asked the security questions and on answering them am directed to enter and verify a new password. Only then do I get sent a mobile verification code. I have an A4 piece of paper filled with the different passwords I've had to conjure up just to access my emails.

Re: Email verification passwords.
Thanks to both Jayach and Caesarome, I've tried the Sky link you both suggested and so far I've managed to log in a few times without any hassle, changing passwords etc. Fingers crossed that's the end of the problem. Many thanks once more for your helpful suggestion.
