Re: Edge: too many requests

I went out to do some shopping, switched off, came home, switched on and got in straight away...I am bemused.

Re: Edge: too many requests

Hi all. Thanks for your various comments. I got Microsoft to look into this for me and they couldn't find anything wrong and suggested I get onto Yahoo.  However, this morning everything  is working fine. Must have been a server issue as I haven't changed any settings. Wierd.

I've tried this and it still didn't work, still got the edge: too many requests error on the yahoo.co.uk page as well, any other suggestions?

Re: Edge: too many requests

I was using Chrome when this happened.   My Google mail worked fine all the time whilst I was getting this message.

then it went away, which is probably happened at the same time everyone got back on.

I was using Yahoo, not sky yahoo.

I don't think the problem is Sky or Chrome

I think the problem is yahoo.  It increasingly gets more flakey, every week!

I think you misunderstand the connection between Sky, Yahoo and Google.

You can't use Yahoo, not Sky. You are using Yahoo, irrespective of whether you go via Sky's webpage or Yahoo's.(assuming you have an @Sky address)

The browser you use has no relevance, it would be the same in every browser.

When you say your Google mail worked all the time, you have state whether you mean Gmail as an app or Gmail as a service, they are very different. Although in this instance it appears the problem would not have been present on either.

You are absolutely right about it being a Yahoo problem, in this instance, but recently they have been much improved.

Still, glad it is now working for You. (and everyone else)
