Hello Users. Out of nowhere I have been unable to access the SKY Community or SKY / Yahoo email. Had been perfectlo OK; my default browser was MS Edge and I have had no problems. Two days ago, I tried to login to my email and just couldn't get in. I just got the following message:
"message": "Control character in cookie value or attribute."
Does anyone know what this message means? I contacted SKY customer services; various checks were carried out, but unfortunately unable to remedy. The operators did their best and as requested, I changed my SKY password, rebooted my SKY router and cleared the cache.
Now today, I have changed my default browser from MS Edge to Chrome and I can now access email and the Community. I'm very confused; can anyone explain? Many thanks.
Incidentally, my broadband in working OK but the speed has been up and down, like a yoyo. Is there some sort of maintenance going on behind the scenes?

Looks like I found the reason for being unable to access Sky / Yahoo email.
I had cleared the cache on Chrome, which was not the default browser. I've now cleared the cache on MS Edge. It took a while to clear, so must have needed doing.
Email and Sky Community now accessable online.
Many thanks.

Hello Caesarome Many thanks for your reply. Clearing cache is no problem, but I have no idea how to close down MS Edge on my desktop; then relaunch the browser. Could you give me a clue, how to do this. Thanks !
