Code incorrect

I am trying to log in to Yahoo Mail but it will not accept the code sent can you help

Are you entering it correctly so not getting a number zero muddled with a letter O or a number 1 with the letter l ?

No I have tried 3 times and have received 3 codes and they were all incorrect is there a problem I have even tried to ring and they say my phone number is wrong so I can't speak to anyone I  don't know what is going off I look forward to hearing from you

When you set it up you were asked to make note of a recovery code so do you still have this ?

I don't know how the codes you're being sent could be wrong, but you could try tapping the 'can't log in with Code' link and then entering your Recovery Code (providing you kept a separate note of it as Sky recommended).

I do not have a recovery code can you supply me with one also can you give me a phone number so that I can speak to someone

The Recovery Code is only generated when you set up 2 step verification.

 

It's probably best you speak to Sky, as they'll probably have to turn off 2 step login on your behalf.

I have rang the number in the help link and the automated message said they  cannot help me as they do not recognise my phone number which is ridiculous as I have had the same number for years and have never changed it what do I do now

2 step verification

I had a discussion yesterday about the 2 step verification I still cannot get in to emails as I am not receiving the access code 

It should go to my phone number but I am not getting them I have tried to ring and my phone number is not recognised so I am unable to speak to anyone and I dont know why as I have always had this phone number can you help also can I take the 2 step verification  off and if so how do I do it

I've added your post to your previous thread. Make sure your telephone number is a listed contact number here, then try calling again.

If you still have the same issue, you could try their social media contacts, either on X or Facebook Messenger.

Hi. The link seems broken. It just loads constantly with no option to check or change info.

The link works fine for me so can you try another web browser. If you have the MySky app installed then you can also use this.
