Re: Change of email settings today ?

Hi Lotusgreg.

I'm having the same problem.

I've tried to edit the servers on my Macbook, but when I try and re-add my email account back, after deleting,  it only asks for email address and password and then fails to the certificate for the sky.tools server.

How do I get to the screen you show that allows me to add the yahoo servers/ports etc. on a Macbook?

Thanks.

Re: Change of email settings today ?

What I've managed to do today and it's working currently is to delete my Sky (Yahoo) internet account then add back on, you just need username and password.

system settings / internet accounts

Hope you have success.

@carlisleavenue I've added your post to an existing thread on the subject. See the post marked as 'Answer' for a workaround.

Is you phone Android or iOS?

I've just had the same error from Thunderbird, and it showed this certificate:

Cert error_net.thunderbird.android.jpg

I was using the Sky servers and a generated password, I tried changing it to OAuth2 but was told the Sky server doesn't have that capability,so I changed to the Yahoo server (imap.mail.yahoo.com) and OAuth2 and after entering my email and password to the OAuth challenge was able to access the mails again.

It will also need the SMTP setting changing to OAuth2 and the server to smtp.mail.yahoo.com or it won't send.
