Cannot gain access to Yahoo email account

Yahoo Support on Twitter/X says 70% of people cannot access on app or website. They don't know what the issue is but are looking for a fix. I am lucky I can access on tablet just not on phone whether that's website or the mail app.

I briefly got onto my emails via sky.com & Google but now almost every link I click defaults me back to home page so I can't access emails.  Even Sky Help section defaults back to first page. I keep clearing browser and cache but no luck. I use my mobile to access my emails via Yahoo app (as laptop connection is poor), but that just closrs straight down.

Are you saying you can't access your email via https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email ?

Try using the link in a different browser to the one you normally use.

When I click your link, screen goes blank then just returns to your post

That still has the hallmark of a browser cache issue. The link works fine, so there's nothing wrong with the web page itself.

There have been issues with the Yahoo Mail app - the advice from Yahoo is to uninstall and reinstall it.

On Android I went into Settings, Apps, Yahoo Mail and cleared data. It then appears to be working.

I've cleared chache and data, uninstalled, re installed reset permissions and I'm now stuck at authentication.  Says typebin code bit code not come through.  Phone number correct any ideas?

@Victoria13 if it were me, I'd turn off 2 step verification temporarily, by using your Recovery Code after clicking 'can't sign in with code' here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email

Then finish setting up on the Yahoo app and afterwards consider reactivating 2 step verification.

Sorry I really need help, can someone advise me please who to talk to. I have had to change my mobile number and then my yahoo email app stopped working I deleted and restored it and forgot that it needs the two step verification code and that is linked to my old mobile number which I can no longer access and i no longer know my one time passcode as this was set up over 5 years ago. sky wont help and nor will yahoo?! any ideas please all my medical things are on this email and i desperatly need to access them due to my serious health condition all my support services and specialists contact me through this email
