Re: Cancel yahoo contact fb

Many thanks. Problem gone away but idon't know how. Was unable to e mail a new addressee because a previous contact with same first name interfered on the address bar and the e. Mails  went to the wrong address. I.e. the previous contact

Can you clarify the above, please? What's actually happening? Can you enter the correct email address when your sending an email to this person? Can you reply to this person without the email address being changed?

It's not all clear what you mean.

Are you asking about using the contacts list in Sky|Yahoo mail?

Re: Cancel yahoo contact fb

Thanks for the  reply. I address the e mail to my intended recipient but the contact previously in my contacts list - but now deleted there - over-rides it and the e mail is wrongly addressed to the contact

The only acceptable address is the contact

Re: Cancel yahoo contact fb

Thanks for this -sorry about the delay. The contact has the same first name as my intended recipient, As soon as I type the first name - in this case - simon - the contact's full address appears and I cannot send to the intended recipient.

Re: Cancel yahoo contact fb

Many thanks for this. Now resolved -but I'm not sure how -  the contact entry prevented any e mail to another addressee with the same first name and every attempt to e mail the new addressee was received in error by the contact
