Having same issues. It seems to be an evening problem for me as it's been working ok during office hours.
Apologies for posting a fresh post on the issue - I blame the prompt to ask for community help via the unhelpful Sky help page!
I will contact Apple S others have suggested

Same problem here shocking service not even a sky service announcement,
change to yahoo set up no different
does not sync folders regularly can't connect to server ok on line mail so nothing wrong there please provide info
IT called customer service !!!!!!!!

It appears to be an issue with the Apple Mail app, not the Sky Yahoo Mail service, which is working fine. Until Apple sort it out, log in via sky.com.

I don't believe it's a apple problem as I have a gmail email that I use for things like competitions and that works fine in the apple mail app it's a sky/yahoo problem

In the meantime other apps like the Yahoo and Outlook mail apps should allow you access to your Sky emails.

Yes I have seen another post and have now got yahoo app don't believe it's a apple problem as I have a gmail that I use for things like competitions and that works fine in the apple mail app it's a sky/yahoo problem

Just because Gmail works doesn't mean it isn't an Apple problem as Yahoo is completely different which is why Apple are investigating and they wouldn't do this if they didn't believe there is an issue there somewhere.

Oh ok well hope it get sorted out soon soo much easier using one app but for now am using the yahoo app. And I like the dalek profile pic!

By the way the Yahoo app works fine so looks like it is an apple problem does not mean that sky can wash there hands of the problem need to be raising it to highest level and need to put out a service announcement

I've spoke to Apple they seem pretty clued up, so the problem is not at their end , but it's with sky or yahoos iOS server as they have different servers for android ,apple iOS phone, web servers so going to contact sky or yahoo
BT used Yahoo and they are terrible

I still think wherever the fault lies, Sky have a duty to sort this. None of us are having problems with other mail servers on the iOS mail app, so it’s unique to Sky email. Therefore they should take this on board and sort out on our behalf. I don’t come on this forum very often but when I do Sky are great at going silent on a problem they can’t or don’t know how to fix (eg SR203 router bad firmware... there's countless hours of my life I won’t get back! )
Even an acknowledgment of the issue would be courteous.
