Blocked email account
No issues logging into my Sky account only emails on multiple devices and desktop. I receive the following.
We apologise for the inconvenience, but we have encountered a problem with your account.
Please contact (number redacted because of restrictions)for further assistance.
This is since the 29th of December, called twice and no help so far. Understand it's the holiday period and now a weekend so hoping someone here maybe able to help. Hoping to here back from them early next week.

When did you last login to your email account via this link:

Have you tried changing the password on it:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

Successful on the 29th of December.
mostly use my email app on my iPad and linking to my work outlook account. I do use the web browser on occasion, but count=d not tell you the date I last used it.
yes tried to reset my password but get the same message.
have cleared cache and cookies without any joy
any help greatly appreciated

If you last logged in on the 29th December all you can do as you were going to do and that is to contact Sky about this and when you do they might wrongly suggest you go to Yahoo for help but Yahoo can not help you with a Sky email account issue.
I had this very same problem a number of years ago and for me it also locked my Sky account and it took me 3 calls before someone knew what to do so good luck, do let us know how you get on !
