Attachment error messages
I've recently been unable to add and send any attachments to emails.
When i add the attachment, i get a red circle with an exclamation mark in the centre and pop up message that says "Message cannot be saved as a draft".
Can anyone advise please.
Thanks 🙏

Re: Attachment error messages
Can you tell us how you send emails, app or website?
What kind of attachments are you trying to send, docs, photos or PDFs. Or is it the same for all?

i login via the sky website using yahoo mail in the drop down options.
attachment sizes vary between 100kb and 1MB. Nothing really very big.

Have you tried clearing your browsers cache and cookies and/or trying an alternative one ?

Re: Attachment error messages
That seems a very unusual problem.
If you check your system folders does there seem anything strange about the Drafts folder?

Re: Attachment error messages
Nothing unusual about the drafts folder. Looks exactly like your screenshot.

Re: Attachment error messages
As you have already tried alternative browsers, is there anyway you can try on a different hardware setup? Possibly try at a friends house.
I would also try basic mode to see if that makes any difference.

Re: Attachment error messages
Hi
Switching to basic mode does seem to make a difference. I am able to add attachments to the email in this mode and then when i switch to the new Sky Yahoo Mail the attachments are still there.
It's a work around but not ideal.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Attachment error messages
I was hoping that if it worked in basic mode, it would clear whatever is causing the problem, have you tried in normal mode again?
It does sound like a browser problem, as basic mode doesn't use any of the advanced browser functions.
Could you try in fresh browser install, I suggest Brave if you haven't used that before, as that it what I use most of the time.
