I no longer have the mobile that is registered to my Email account and do not know what my recovery code is and cannot access my email account. Allthough I have rang Sky no one seems to be able to help even though you are ringing from the landline that is registered with my Sky account. What should I do?
They say that it is nothing to do with Sky it is Yahoo.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt's absolutely nothing to do with Yahoo - they'll simply refer you back to Sky. As @caesarome posted there's a process for dealing with this so I'd suggest calling them back and referring them to their own help page if you come across an adviser who doesn't know how to proceed.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you didn't make a note of the recovery code as it advised you to do when setting this up Sky does have a procedure to unlock accounts but it can take up to 21 days to be actioned:

Go through the options at the bottom of this link to find the number to use to call them on.

I'm having a smilar issue, however I do have the mobile number still but am not receiving any verification codes. I've spoken to multiple agents and they've filled out the form for forgotten recovery code, but the request gets immediately denied - apparently because I've got a Gmail address linked to my account.
I'm well and truly at wits end now, I've literally spent hours on the phone and have made no progress whatsoever.
Can anyone help at all please?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSo to be clear you can login to your Sky email account but are not receiving email verification codes. If your account is linked to a Gmail account have you checked the spam/trash/junk folders on there for these emails ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt may have been better to start your own thread, as your problem is not like that of the OP.
However we do get some posts where people say they still have their number, but don't get the verification codes, but there hasn't been any real resolution to that.
Have you tried to turn the 2FA off as described here:
Two-step verification for Sky Yahoo Mail | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com
Although it's probable that code won't be received either.
Can you explain how your Sky|Yahoo mail address is linked to a gmail one? I don't see why that would stop the agents being able to request the 2FA being turned off.
