Synchronise email deletion across devices

I use my sky/yahoo email account on my laptop and on my Kindle.  It used to be that if I deleted an email on one device it automatically deleted on the other.  Now I have to delete on both devices which is a pain.  Not sure if it's an email account problem or Windows 11.  I think this problem may have started when I got a new laptop which meant I switched from Windows 10 to 11.  But not using Windows on the Kindle so not sure if that makes any sense.  Any ideas or tips welcome.  TIA

@Cassie+Lemons to synchronise emails across devices you need to be using IMAP server settings in the email set up on each device. Accounts set up using the POP server won't synchronise.

On your Windows 11 laptop are you using an email app as it does need to be setup as an IMAP account as you mighnt have set it up as a POP one.

Thank you for this suggestion.  In 'New Outlook' I couldn't even find the settings to tell me if it was IMAP or POP, but in exploring that difficulty I discovered 'New Outlook' is IMAP by default.  I think it must be a Kindle problem because Amazon Mail isn't supported.  (I have gmail on my phone and can delete on phone or laptop and it synchs.) Anyway, I found and turned on a synch setting on the Kindle, which had never been necessary before, and that seems to have solved the problem😀

That's because it is neither, it is a PWA (Progressive web app)

 Basically that means it is website packaged as a standalone app.
