I have reset my password, completed the two security questions and then a 2 factor authentication appeared saying a code was required and had been sent to my phome number. Issue is that it is the incorrect phone number listed. Do any of you know how i can amend my phone number? It is strange as i have hadthe sme phone number longer than i have had the emails!

You can change your mobile number for 2 step verification (2SV) by first turning off 2SV using your Recovery Code, then setting up 2SV again using the correct mobile humber.

Re: 2 factor authentication - incorrect phone number
To turn off 2FA sign in with the recovery code so at the login select "can't sign in with the code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.

Re: 2 factor authentication - incorrect phone number
Hi,
I am not a technical guy, but also not a dafty 🙂 and I am struggling to believe that losing a recovery code (or never writing it down) and changing phone numbers will lose me a 20+ year email address used for business, schooling, LinkedIn etc..
Please give me some good news that I can still fix this or at least Sky can fix this...

Re: 2 factor authentication - incorrect phone number
@MrSpe1rs you can't fix it, but there's a specialist team within Sky who can. However, they're not directly contactable and finding a front line adviser who is aware of their existence may be a challenge, requiring perseverance. Don't be fobbed off by being told to speak to Yahoo - they use a different 2FA system and won't be able to help.
