Is anyone else rewatching season 1 to get back up to speed 😂

So, we only started to watch Game of Thrones for the first time earlier this year! Having now watched it all and having just finished House of the Dragon, we're very much looking forward to the new series. Team black all the way for this household!

As Season 1 seems so long ago now, i'm planning to rewatch it all over the next couple of weeks so i can remember what actually happened 😀

i was a bit late to Game of Thrones started watching Series on around about series 5 was being broadcast but caught up but haven't really bothered with house of the dragon yet guess i'll watch series 1 at some point

Our household found Game of Thrones and House Of The Dragon to be nothing short of turgid nonsense.

We even gave GoT a second go to try and get into it but gave up after a few episodes. So tedious. This type of fantasy storytelling just does nothing for me.

We tried HotD to see if it was any better. Sadly not. Needless to say we will not be watching season 2.

If they do anything as epic as Daemon's assault on the beach at The Stepstones I think it will be a great season! 🏖🔥🐲

I just rewatched that episode last weekend , certainly one of my favourites from the first season.

Can't wait for this to start. I am an avid Game of thrones fan and have watched  all  8 series many times, sad I know.

Thought house of the dragon was a bit slow at first but it did get going and once you were used to all the characters it has its own charm.

I think this new series looks amazing from the clips I have seen.

Season 1 certainly was a bit slow, but i guess that was because they had a whole bunch of new characters to introduce and get the audience invested in. Seemingly they decided to go for a more character and story driven start to HOTD rather than the shock value which they did with GOT.

Yes I agree season one started a bit slow, but its like any new programne you watch you need to get used to the characters. Matt Smith certainly made his mark, I wad unsure he would  fit but that stunning white hair made him look a real Targaryeon.
