Sending community messages

You can send messages to other users on the community, to do this:

 

  1. Select your avatar at the top right of the page.
  2. Select the Envelope icon to get to your messages.
  3. Select the new message icon.
  4. In the Send To field, enter the username of the person you'd like to send a message to.
  5. Type your message and hit Send Message!

 

And remember the Community rules and guidelines!

 

Messages from Sky Verified accounts will have Sky Employee ChloeW22_0-1750935645469.pngor Community team Nimbob_0-1757341785959.png next to the senders name.

If you receive a message that seems suspicious or inappropriate, don't respond, Tap the options menu (3 vertical dots) and select “Report as inappropriate” for review.

In a community direct message, Sky will never ask you to:
- Send a text message to a mobile number.
- Send a message to a WhatsApp account.
- Email any address that doesn't end with @sky.uk
