wifi not reaaching devices

Why is wifi not reaching my devices when we are only 5m away from the router?! I dont see why i should pay for a booster when this has never been an issue before

@Deegulbum 5m of air should not be an issue but if there is a solid wall or two between your device and the hub the laws of physics come into play and it is wuite likely you wont have usable wifi. Older homes are a frequent issue where there are brick or stone internal walls. However modern homes can hit issues as even a thin layer of metallic foil in an insulation pabel will block 100% of the signal.

These factors are outside Sky's control and they do charge extra to supply WiFi extenders .see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max. You can potentially help yourself by making sure the hub is not on the floor or in a cupboard etc tge best position is on a surface out in the open you msy require a longer cable to connect it but these are easy to buy.
