@Lanie18 Does the caravan have its own address? if it doesn't then Openreach probably won't be able to provide the infastructure for fibre or any broadband.

If it does have an address then you will have to ask the park owners/management if you can have broadband installed, given they have already stated no landlines they may also refuse this request, so be prepared to be disappointed.

Sky may be able to install Sky Q for you without any broadband, but again i would seek permission form the park owners/management just to make sure you can have it installed.

@Lanie18

And perhaps speak to others on the park to see what they have, and have a look to see if any others have satellite dishes attached which would indicate Sky Q may be an option.

Note that Sky has never been a provider of internet by satellite: that's a market now dominated by Starlink.

It's not possible to receive a terrestrial internet connection without either copper 'phone' cable or optical fibre arriving at the location either on poles or in a duct.

If there's adequate cellular coverage then 4G or 5G through a cellular router with an unlimited data SIM is a very realistic alternative.

I would check the quality of 4g and 5g coverage at the park via:

https://www.ofcom.org.uk/mobile-coverage-checker

Use the network dropdown menu to see if any of the 4 networks give good coverage.

If they do then you can usually buy that network's 5g home router with data sim packages

e.g:

https://www.vodafone.co.uk/gigacube

https://www.three.co.uk/broadband/home-broadband

https://ee.co.uk/broadband/hubs

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/netgear/nighthawk-m6-mobile-router

You can then get sky channels via now TV on computers, mobiles, smart tv and tv streaming devices (like apple tv and fire tv):

https://www.nowtv.com/

any device with a web browser or one that supports the now TV app

Unfortunately the phone reception is awful 😞 I will have to rethink this.

@Lanie18 Starlink offer a roaming product which can be turned on or off as you use your caravan. It isnt cheap but is a way to get fast internet coverage virtually anywhere.
