@Lino47435

Try rebooting your broadband hub at the mains, if this doesn't fix it then give this a try:

Try running this line test to see if it finds any faults:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

Re: wifi keeps dropping out

I've been having the same problem. I only got Sky Broadband a few weeks ago and when I reported the problem I was advised that the router had not been set up correctly and they suggested changing the router WPA setting from WPA3 to WPA2. (Via the mysky app.) Since then I haven't had any drop outs. BUT I only had the conversation with Sky this morning so I can't be absolutely sure that this is a permanent fix.

Re: wifi keeps dropping out

@texprez Where you on full blown WPA3 or using the WPA3-T mode for the wireless securities? It make a difference....

Re: wifi keeps dropping out

I was on T. But when I just looked to check, because I couldn't remember exactly without looking at the setting again, the router is now showing as T again.  So I've no idea why it's reverted or if that undermines my suggested solution. I'm due a follow up callback from sky tomorrow so I can ask what they think.

Re: wifi keeps dropping out

@texprez Below is all the info about it etc, and how to change, but the default is WPA3-T with the sky Max hub and causes all kinds off stability with some wireless devices, that is why recommended to drop back to WPA2-PSK for wireless......

Sky Max change settings link.
