Wifi frequency

I believe the router carries two frequencies 2.4ghz & 5ghz. I think that following an IOS update my phone is linked to the 5ghz signal. My yaleview app requires 2.4ghz. How can I make the router carry only the 2.4ghz frequency to allow yaleview to work

@DennisF Is the device struggling to connect, it's nothing to do with the app in anyway! What hub are you using?
