Using auto setting on my Panasonic Viera TV it will connect to my Sky router by wireless, but it will not connect by Ethernet - now. It was OK about three weeks ago but I now get 'the gateway does not respond' and on the TV screen it shows a connection to the router but no further. This post is sent from my computer which is also on the same network LAN and works perfectly. I have also noticed that my security cameras are not working which are connected direct to the Sky router by cable. Also my Logitec Squeezebox Touch is failing to connect to the Logitec Media Server. I feel there is some connection between these failures and the Sky router. All were working up to about three weeks ago. Has there been an update to alter something? Wireless tablets and phones have no issue.

Find out more@TheReiver-81 no updates that have altered ethernet settings, Given the number of decices you are mentioning do you have an ethernet switch if you have makecsure it is powered. Most ethernet issues are down to cables and connectors if one port on the hub is known to work switch the cables round as that should tell you if its a port on the hub or the connection at fault,

iPlayer app works through the same network cable. The TV is set to auto when connecting to either wireless or wired. The ip address etc comes up automatically with wireless but the table is blank for wired. I have entered the figures shown in wireless manually to the wired table with various results, one being 'the gateway is not responding', but no success. In all other instances, three ethernet desktops and four wireless devices, everything works fine. The TV hasn't changed but is not getting the message back from the router.
