Hi all,
Why is it advised on sky web that sky wifi max hubs newest firmware version is 6.3.P4S2 but actually ive been on 6.6 since beginning and recently updated to 6.8p2s3.
i can assume that im on newer version that hasn't officially been out yet and sky using me as theyr test bunny?
Same applies for pods - advised version is 3.4.1.27 but actually i have 3.4.1.33
Technically speaking its not a problem , but the hub keeps restarting every 2nd night and unfortunately it always happens while im gaming.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Micits it is very unlikely thst your hub or pods is running a pre-release version of the Firmware unless you have a staff account. It is more likely is that Sky have forgotten to update the web page I assume you checked. Was it this one https://www.sky.com/help/articles/automatic-software-updates-for-sky-routers.
Hiwever I will get this checked for you.

To put your mind at rest Sky do not use customers to trial pre-release firmware on any product except where express permission has been granted. Any pre-release testing is done on staff accounts given they have over 30K employees in the UK that does give them a decent pool and all of them are bound by NDAs linked to their jobs.
