By the way I've tried WPS, but it hasnt worked

I've tried an ethernet cable, it works but when I unplug it, it disconnects (not to mention the only ethernet cable I have is a 0.3m one

When you disconnect the ethernet cable does it disconnect even if you leave the booster right next to the hub?

Other than holding the reset button for 20 seconds and trying again im afraid you'll need to contact Sky for a replacement

If you originally obtained the booster from Sky you should be able to get a replacement free of charge since its faulty
