so i call and complain,,an engineer is booked for next day, 12-2pm, i wait those 2 hours, no engineer, i call again am told give him an extra hour to turn up, i wait another hour, no engineer...

i go out for a walk, the engineer calls my (sky supplied) phone, tellls me he is here! i tell him im out now i waited long enough, he says he was delayed at previous bookings, i say well if you had called and told me i could have either cancelled the appointment or planned my day around the new time...he says (while actually on the phone to me!) "i didnt have your number" ???

cant make this **** up can you!

i am still not receiving the speed im paying for next day and am still waiting for sky to call and apologise..something tells me i will be waiting a long time...!

sky your service is useless and treating so-called VIP platinum customers like this well...

cancelling your service when you call me, better be today friday 18/10/24 , time 10.35,

Re: paying for speed im not getting...

@sky.sean  Firstly, this is a customer forum

You are not contacting Sky customer services by posting here, so it is unlikely that Sky will contact you as a result of your post, not least because they can't link your account to your forum ID.

The download speed quoted to you is the maximum speed of the connection to the hub.

How are you measuring your speed? Unless you are using a device connected to your hub via Ethernet cable, any speed checker will show a reduced speed because of all the factors affecting WiFi.

If you are able to post your hub stats, one of the regular 'gurus' might be able to help you.
