no connectivity for tablets or sticks upstairs. Just converted to my new sky hub 17.4.25 from BT hub. Initially no issues then last week no Wifi upstairs. One digital TV states range issue for WIFI. The various hardware can see the sky hub but none can connect.

@JOHN532 Where any off your devices reset with the ISP changeover from BT to Sky. Do they connect fine when you take the devices down to the Hub area?

Hi Jim
its got worse
the printer that is in the room with the hub has now disconnected.
The SKY TV is fine as are our phones. I ran an on line check of the status and some hardware is connected and indicating good. But the hardware that has disconnected - printer, amazon sticks for upstairs TV's - Printer as stated downstairs and sticks upstairs just won't connect. Seems odd - not just a vicinity issue. Sorry for delay been checking around the house the various devises

@JOHN532 What type off service do you have from sky, and what router did you get, white or black. Printer will more than likely be because it was on the BT router before as possibly also your firestick if wi-fi connected, not an automatic change to the sky router, so that is either find a way to reset the printer/stick to forget it's setting's and re-connect it, but please first answer the what router did you get question....
BT to Sky is not a possible apples to apples change, then again that goes for every change.

Re: no connectivity for tablets or sticks upstairs. Just converted to my new sky hub 17.4.25 from BT
Thanks Jim
I was using the wps buttons on both the sky hub and the printer without success. The printer had been working with the new "white" sky hub the week earlier. Not sure why it couldnt connect?
In the end Jim, I took the low tech route that I have been using for thirty years or more with IT. I cut the power to everything and rebooted all devices. I know its a long winded job but it did work. ( It is what sky advise with the Hub as you probably already know)
I suppose I should have done that in the first place - turn the Hub off and restart

Re: no connectivity for tablets or sticks upstairs. Just converted to my new sky hub 17.4.25 from BT
@JOHN532 there is a reason most tech support scripts include the reboot step (often after the 'is it plugged in" step) as it clears many faults particularly around network connections. The more technical knowledge you accumulate the easier it is to forget the basics. It happened to me recently when a patient Sky tech asked had I tried a reboot of both the device and my hub after a session trying to pin down an obscure networking fault.on a Stream puck and of course it worked
